Large Acrylic Bottles and Tubes: Fevicryl 200ml and Pentel 75ml

When you paint large areas, small tubes run out fast. Fevicryl acrylic 200ml bottles and Pentel 75ml acrylic tubes give you more paint for walls, big canvases, school projects and craft work. This Haanz Art Guide covers the colours we stock in these sizes and how to get the most from them.
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour, 200ml
Fevicryl acrylics are a popular choice for hobby painting and craft, and the 200ml bottle gives you plenty of paint for regular use. We stock these colours:
- Cadmium Red: a strong, warm red.
- Lemon Cadmium Yellow: a bright, fresh yellow.
- Dark Ultramarine Blue: a deep blue for skies, water and dark mixes.
- Hookers Green: a natural, deep green for foliage.
- Burnt Sienna: a warm reddish-brown for earth, wood and skin tones.
- Silver: a metallic silver for decoration and craft.
With red, yellow, blue, green and brown in large bottles, you have the base of a wall or mural palette. Add white for lightening.
Pentel Acrylic Colour, 75ml
Pentel acrylics can be applied thickly for textured strokes or thinned with water for a softer, watercolour-like look. We stock these 75ml colours:
- Jaune Brilliant: a soft, warm light yellow often used for skin tones.
- Lemon Yellow and Yellow Green
- Yellow Ochre: an earthy yellow for landscapes and portraits.
- Scarlet: a bright red.
- Deep Green
- Purple
Jaune Brilliant and Yellow Ochre are especially useful for portrait painters, because they make natural skin tones quickly.

When large sizes make sense
- Murals and wall painting: large areas of one colour use a lot of paint.
- Big canvases: backgrounds and skies need more paint than you expect.
- Schools, art classes and groups: one big bottle can be shared from a palette.
- Craft businesses: painting many items in the same colour, such as pots, frames or boxes.
- Your most-used colours: even if you paint small, a large tube of white or your favourite green saves frequent top-ups.
How to use paint from a large bottle
- Shake or stir well before use.
- Pour or squeeze into a palette or small container rather than dipping brushes into the bottle. It keeps the bottle clean.
- Close the lid tightly straight away. Large bottles are opened often, so dried paint around the neck can stop them closing.
- For murals, a small amount of water helps the paint flow, but too much makes it patchy.
- Protect painted walls and outdoor items with a suitable clear varnish or sealer.
Easy mixes from these colours
- Skin tones: Jaune Brilliant with a touch of Scarlet and Yellow Ochre.
- Olive green: Hookers Green with a little Burnt Sienna.
- Purple-blue shadows: Dark Ultramarine Blue with a little Purple.
- Warm brown: Burnt Sienna with a little Hookers Green.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use Fevicryl on walls?
Acrylic can be used on prepared, clean, dry walls for murals. Test a small area first and protect the finished mural with a clear sealer.
Is Pentel acrylic good for beginners?
Yes. It is easy to use thick or thin, and the 75ml size is practical for students.
Do Fevicryl and Pentel colours mix together?
Yes. Both are water-based acrylics, so you can mix them on the same palette. Mix a small test first to check the shade.
How should I store large bottles?
Keep them tightly closed, upright and away from heat and direct sun.
Do you deliver islandwide?
Yes. We deliver across Sri Lanka in 2–5 working days, with cash on delivery, card or bank transfer. You can also visit our shops in Boralesgamuwa and Horana, open every day from 9 AM to 6 PM.
